Family house is situated in Trutnov(CZ) near Great Mountains Krkonose on the south hillside and It is a corner plot of land in a developed area. Task was to design a site specified two-storey house for two sport-active residents with low maintenance and operation. We were looking for high-quality concept solution of the house, which would also fullfill strict regulation of this location. We chose a solution when regulations become the real actual concept: the roof ridge has to be oriented perpendicular to the axis of the road – so its going diagonally across the rectangular plan of the house, which stands on the corner and is situated in parallel way to the long side. Asymmetric roof is the main feature of the external volume of normal archetypal house with gable roof. Frame construction of wood timber trusses divides the house into modules. And as a modules-bloks are inserted various functions of the building. Through the center of the house we can go directly from entrance to the south terrace and don't lose the contact with the western garden. The main living space on the south of the plan is opened to the second floor.
